Whether your dog is new to the world or an old hand we have the training package for you. The first option is the training tune-ups for your dog while they are boarding. They must be here for a minimum of five days. This is a great program if you just need them to brush up on those old commands (sit, stay, down, come, etc). Next, we offer group training so you can work with your dog in a friendly group setting where they can learn with their pals. This will be a six week class meeting once per week for one hour. We also offer CGD (Certified Good Dog) evaluations where your dog will take a test and become a Certified Good Dog from the AKC and receive a certificate from them as such.
If your dog is a tough nut to crack then we offer two options for you. We have private lessons where our trainer will work with you and your dog one on one so they get the most focused training possible and you can learn how to keep them on the winning path. This private class will also be a six week class meeting once a week for one hour. The second option, for those who might not have the spare time to train with their dog, is our training boot camp. This is where you drop your dog off on a daily basis for two weeks and we will work with them everyday for several hours to get them into peak form. During this time we will also schedule four appointments for you and your dog to work together so you can see their development and learn how to work with your dog.
Our trainers have over 8 years training experience and are certified by either Therapy Dog International, AKC as a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator or 4-H as a pet leader. Our trainers have been certified as dog trainers and have membership to the Certified Pet Dog Trainer Association. They have also trained dogs in agility, competitive obedience, earthdog, conformation, junior handling tracking, behavior modification and herding.
