Pet Care Plus didn’t start as a resort. It started with a belief — that Chicago’s pets deserved better than what was available, and that better was achievable if you cared enough to build it carefully. Jennifer and Chris opened their doors in 1998 with dog walking and pet sitting. That belief never stood still. What better meant kept evolving, the standard kept rising, and the business kept being built to match it. Twenty-five years later, that is still what drives us.

Over the years, Pet Care Plus grew from a service into a destination, and then into a purpose-built resort at 350 N. Laflin St. in the West Loop. Five air systems. An in-ground pool. Private suites. A team trained the same way, year after year. Almost 30 years in, what matters most hasn’t changed: same owners, same neighborhood, same belief that every pet in our care deserves to feel looked after, valued, and genuinely cared for — the way family does.
