Our Approach · Since 1998
Pet Care Plus started in Chicago in the spring of 1998 as an in-home pet care business. Jennifer and Chris built it themselves — not as investors, but as people who believed Chicago’s pets deserved better than what was available at the time. Within the same year, that grew into the daycare, grooming, and boarding operation clients know today.

A different kind of proof
We’re not the largest pet care operation in Chicago. We’re the longest-running under the same ownership. We’ve seen more than most, so we can handle more than most. That’s a different kind of proof.
Almost 30 years on
Jennifer and Chris started Pet Care Plus not as investors, but as people who believed Chicago’s pets deserved better than what was available at the time.
Almost 30 years later: same ownership, same neighborhood, same commitment — in the same West Loop we started in.
We’ve watched thousands of dogs grow from puppies to seniors in our care — whole lifetimes, with the same family looking after them.
We’ve updated the facility, trained the team, and refined the process — but the reason we get up every morning hasn’t changed.
