Pet Care Plus is not in Berwyn. We are at one address in Chicago’s West Loop, where the same family has cared for dogs since 1998, in a facility built for animals from the ground up.
From Berwyn the trip is one road for almost all of it. Families here make the drive for what a single purpose-built resort can offer that a nearer option often cannot: private climate-controlled suites, a team on-site 24/7/365, five independent air-handling systems, and our own parking lot at the door.

One location, one team, since 1998. The people who greet your dog at drop-off are the people who are there overnight.

The resort at 350 N. Laflin St. was purpose-built rather than converted. It has five air-handling systems, spacious private suites, and a 15,000-gallon in-ground heated saltwater outdoor pool. Berwyn is bungalows and small yards, and a lot of dogs here spend the working day indoors and alone. What tends to matter most on a boarding stay from this area is not more stimulation but better structure — real activity, then real rest, in a suite that is quiet enough to sleep in.
Take the Virtual TourWe do not over-schedule boarding dogs. Dogs in our care have structured activity and real wind-down time, because an anxious, depleted dog at pick-up was not cared for, just occupied. Our team knows the difference between a quiet dog who is content and one who needs attention.

Current Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccinations are required, along with a negative fecal result from the last six months. Most Berwyn veterinary practices will send records directly — worth requesting about a week ahead so nothing delays drop-off. We would also rather meet your dog before an overnight stay.

No. Pet Care Plus has operated from one address in Chicago’s West Loop since 1998. The same team cares for your dog on every visit, which is the part Berwyn families tell us they were missing at places that rotate staff.
Roughly ten miles. Most families drive it in about 20 to 25 minutes outside peak hours, straight east on I-290 and off at Racine Avenue. There is on-site parking at the building, so the last few minutes are not spent circling.
